Rose Cottage and Pool Cottage are a pair of semi detached 17th century cottages, situated in the small hamlet of Thorncross, one mile from the village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight.  They lie on the south west of the Island in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the downs and the sea.  They have both been recently modernised without detracting from the original character and charm.

The larger cottage - Pool Cottage, shown on the right - has three bedrooms and will sleeps four adults and two children in comfort.  There is a double room, room with twin beds and a room with a bunk bed.  The smaller cottage - Rose Cottage - has one bedroom and sleeps two adults and two children.

The two, well tended, gardens are laid mostly to lawn with large patio areas with garden furniture.  There is hard standing on both properties for cars.
